Joan Edwards has 40 years of work experience in the recycling field, including non-profit advocacy organizations, as a private consultant, and as the manager of recycling initiatives for New York City and Los Angeles. Her C&D work includes the design and oversight of the City of Los Angeles's 1994 Northridge disaster debris recycling program, assisting in the development and oversight of some of California’s earliest C&D Ordinances; leading workshops and training municipal staff on C&D diversion opportunities; and auditing mixed C&D processing facilities’ diversion rates.
